Gujarat Common entrance Test (GUJCET) is conducted by the Education Department of Govt. of Gujarat. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) are assigned to hold Gujarat Common entrance Test (CET) for admission into various medical, engineering and pharmacy courses in the state of Gujarat. GUJCET Exam is only open for the candidates who belong to the state of Gujarat. This common entrance test is considered as one of the toughest exam that candidates have to face for their upcoming future. This exam is one of the best choices for the students to get Gujarat’s top institutes for engineering, medical and pharmacy. Every year a large number of application forms are distributed in all over the state. Large number of students applies for GUJCET every year for admission in to these courses.
GUJARAT CET Application Procedure:
The interested candidates can get the application form & brochure by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in the favor of Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell payable at Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar.
On the basis of Gujarat common entrance test merit rank, candidates are eligible to apply for following undergraduate degree courses offered by various technological institutes and colleges located in Gujarat.

• B.E. – Bachelor of Engineering
• MBBS – Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery
• BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery
• B.Pharma – Bachelor of Pharmacy
Gujarat CET Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should be from Gujarat State, they must have passed 10+2 in Science stream or appearing their higher secondary education can appear for Gujarat Common Entrance Test.
GUJCET Test Pattern:
Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a written test of 3 hours. There are 4 sections in test which includes Physics, chemistry, Math, Biology. There are 40 questions in each section & each question is of 1 mark. GUJCET examination comprises of multiple choice questions with each question carries four alternatives.
GUJCET Selection Procedure:
The selection will be on the basis of entrance test. The test will be based on the syllabus of Std XI & XII. There will be 4 sections in the test. Each section will be of 1 hr. There will be 40 questions in each section. The various sections are – Chemistry, Biology, Physics, mathematics. Each question will be of 1 mark.
